BioHello. My name is Penelope Elaine Clearwater Weasley. I am an employee of the Ministry of Magic in the United Kingdom. I work as a liason between the Ministry and several non-magical governments.
My focus is on the location and retreival of ancient magical artifacts. This requires me to work very closely with such institutions as the British Museum in London, the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, and the Smithsonian Institution. Sadly, the present political climate has greatly curtailed my division's activities in most of mainland Europe.
Here's hoping for better days.
When I am not at work (which is rare these days!), I enjoy the theatre, the symphony, and curling up by the fire with a nice book. I also play the viola, but I'm afraid that I don't really have a gift for it. It's something that I do just for my own amusement.
Please feel free to leave a comment in my journal. I do love to meet new people, and I am always interested in lively discussion.
